Johanna Kane, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, NCC
I am a board certified art therapist, a licensed professional counselor and a national certified counselor in private practice for 22 years. I specialize in helping those struggling with eating disorders, mood & anxiety disorders, grief, chronic illness, life transitions and survivors of trauma between the ages of 12 and 70.
My experience is rooted in previous work as Director of The Light Program in Radnor, Pennsylvania, an intensive outpatient program for men and women with eating disorders and various eating disordered treatment facilities such as The Renfrew Center and Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment. I have also worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where I offered art therapy to children diagnosed with cancer and their families during their quest for health.
I have devoted 18 years educating aspiring art therapists at Arcadia University as an adjunct professor and as the Art Therapy Internship Coordinator.
I do not accept insurance however I offer receipts that can be applied to your out-of-network behavioral health benefit.
